Prompts: 

Spurious- adjective

not being what it purports to be; false or fake.

"separating authentic and spurious claims"

 (of a line of reasoning) apparently but not actually valid.

(of offspring) illegitimate.

Euphony- noun

the quality of being pleasing to the ear, especially through a harmonious combination of words.

the tendency to make phonetic change for ease of pronunciation.
